| Friend's Experience (3rd Sep 09 at 5:22am UTC) | | I haven't actually participated because I'm not a student, or really out in the public much, but a friend of mine went through this:
Quote: So, yesterday was the Day of Silence, and I participated. During my English class, the professor asked me a question about "The Plague", and I showed her my piece of paper explaining that I was participating in the day of silence. She announced my actions to the whole class, and then continued teaching. Afterwards, as I left the classroom, these four guys followed me down the hallway, and the one who felt brave (he was a black guy, about 6'2/6'3), walked up, shoved me and called me a "hypocritical cock-sucking faggot". When I decisively ignored him, he threw a punch at me. At this point, I got rather irritated, so avoided the punch, turned around, slammed my knee into his gut, jabbed him in the throat, and slammed his head into the locker. He went on his knees for a minute, completely winded, and I just said nothing and moved on. Hateful people like that just drive me absolutely crazy. I didn't care what he thought about me though, because everyone who knows me knows I'm straight. | |
